What is Early Access?

With this release, we are introducing significant improvements to how you interact with controls and monitoring tests. While we believe these changes will enhance your experience, we understand that adjusting to a new interface can take time. To ease this transition, you can always choose to opt in or out of the new experience from the Controls or Monitoring page.

Opt into the Early Access

You can opt into the new experience from either the Controls or Monitoring pages by selecting a control or monitoring test.

Important Notes:

  • Once you enter the Early Access experience, some existing help articles may no longer be applicable.

FAQs about Early Access

What if I prefer the old experience?

We hope you find the new experience valuable, but if not, we encourage your feedback. To give feedback:

  1. Select the Early access menu on the control or monitoring pages.

  2. Select Provide feedback to share your thoughts directly with our product team.

Your input will help us prioritize future enhancements.

How long will the early access option be available?

We are finalizing the exact release date, but early access will be available for some time period. After that period, the new interface will become permanent.

Can I opt into only the control experience or the monitoring test experience?

No. Because these experiences are similar, opting into early access applies to both the control and monitoring test pages simultaneously.

Findings are only displayed if an item is causing a failure. A test that is passing or has errors will not display any findings. Tests that are passing or erroring will not present any findings as findings are specific to items causing failure. A passing tests will have no failing findings and an erroring tests are not able to make a full assessment to present findings.

Exclusions tab

The Exclusions tab will show you all the items that were excluded from the test’s assessment and results with a way to re-include them as needed.

Depending on the test's results, the table will present different columns and information.

The following columns are always displayed:

  • Excluded by: Name of the person who made the exclusion

  • Date excluded: Date of the exclusion

  • Reason: Reason provided for the exclusion

The Manage reason button is only displayed when applicable. Select this button to view the complete reason and also update the reason, if needed.

Exclusions marked as N/A are not relevant to the current Findings. These exclusions exist because they were previously created for a resource that is no longer part of the current Findings. To remove N/A exclusions:

  1. Select the exclusions.

  2. Select More actions > Include/Remove option.

Controls tab

The Controls tab will display all the controls that are mapped to a given test. You can map or un-map controls from here.
