Generate an API key in Bitwarden Admin Console with the correct scopes and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. You will need the client ID and client secret when connecting to Drata.
Scope:
api.organization is required
Refer to Bitwarden’s documentation to learn more about organization API key.
Enable Bitwarden
Select Connections on the side navigation menu.
Select the Available connections tab, search for Bitwarden, and select Connect.
On the drawer, you can connect to Bitwarden.
In the next steps, enter the Client ID and Client Secret which was generated from the previous sections.
A check mark with a success message indicates a successful connection.
Troubleshoot
If an error message is displayed after connecting, ensure that the client id and client secret correlates to the correct API key and that the API key has the scope api.organization
