Integrating Scaleway with Drata automates your user access reviews, saving time and reducing errors by syncing user data directly from Scaleway.
Prerequisites
Ensure your Scaleway Role has the access to organization features Rule assigned.
Scaleway Policies and Rules for your organization can be viewed on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) > Policies page.
Copy your Scaleway Organization ID
Log in to your Scaleway account.
On your Organization Dashboard, select the Settings tab.
Copy your displayed Organization ID. You will need this to connect Scaleway to Drata.
Create a Policy for the Scaleway Application.
Select your profile icon at the top right corner and then, IAM.
On the Identity and Access Management (IAM) page, select the Policies tab and then Create policy button.
Enter the name, description, and principal.
For the principal:
Principal type: Select Application.
Select or type an application: Enter the name of the application.
Add rules. Select Access to Organization features option then validate.
Select Create policy.
Create the Scaleway Application.
On the Identity and Access Management (IAM) page, select the Applications tab.
Select Create application button.
Enter the name of the application, description, and attach the policy you created in the previous steps.
Select Create application.
Copy you Scaleway secret key.
On the Identity and Access Management (IAM) page, select the API keys tab and then Generate API key button.
When generating the API key:
Select API key bearer: Select the An application option and then the application you created in the previous step.
Expiration: Select Never.
Will this API key be used for Object Storage?: You can select No, skip for now option.
Generate the API key and then copy the Secret Key. You will need this to connect Scaleway to Drata.
Enable Scaleway
Select Connections on the side navigation menu.
Select the Available connections tab, search for Scaleway, and select Connect.
Follow the instructions on the connection drawer.
After you select connect to Scaleway, on the popup modal, enter the required fields with the values that you obtained from the previous section.
