Follow these steps to connect Netlify to Drata.

Integrating Netlify with Drata automates your user access reviews, saving time and reducing errors by syncing user data directly from Netlify.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have the Owner Role within Netlify.

  • Copy your Netlify Account Slug.

    1. Log in to your Netlify account. Your Account Slug is visible in the URL.

    2. For example, if your URL is https://app.netlify.com/teams/user-12abcde/settings, the Account Slug is user-12abcde.

  • Copy your Netlify Personal Access Token.

    1. In your Netlify account, navigate to your user settings.

    2. Under General, select Application.

    3. Scroll down to Personal access tokens and select the New access token button.

    4. Under Create a new personal access token, enter a Description and Expiration Date for the new token. Then, select the Generate token button.

    5. Copy your displayed Access Token and store it safely.

Enable Ansible

  1. Select Connections on the side navigation menu.

  2. Select the Available connections tab, search for Netlify, and select Connect.

  3. Follow the instructions on the connection drawer.

    • After you select connect to Netlify, on the popup modal, enter the required fields with the values that you obtained from the previous section.

  4. After connecting, you may have to log into your account to authorize the Netlify Application you created.
