Drata inspects your company records to determine if all new contractors have completed background checks upon hire.

This test is part of the Contractor Requirements control that ensures your company requires all contractors to read and acknowledge the Code of Conduct, the Acceptable Use Policy, and pass a background check.

WHAT TO DO IF A TEST FAILS

If Drata finds contractors that have not completed a background check prior to hire the test will fail. With a failed test, you will receive a list of contractors that still need to complete a background check.

To remediate a failed test, you will need to advise these contractors to complete a background check. In the case were they have already completed a background check but the results are not showing in Drata you will need to navigate to their record on the 'Personnel Page' and paste in the URL to their background check summary.
