Language Setting

This article covers how admin and personnel can change their language.

Updated over a week ago

The Drata app now supports English, Spanish, French, and German.

This feature translates the app, including pages, table headers, and buttons. It does not affect your Vendors, Controls, or Policies. You can still customize Vendors, Controls, and Policies to suit your company’s desired languages.

Set the company default language

Note: Only Admins can set a company default language. This sets the default language for all personnel using Drata by default. However, each person can individually customize their own language preferences.

  1. Navigate to the Drata portal and login.

  2. Select your user account and then Settings.

  3. Under Company Settings section, select Language.

  4. Choose the desired language and save.

After saving your changes, new personnel will receive this language as their default. Existing personnel's language preferences will remain unchanged unless they choose to update them individually.

Set your individual language through you settings

Note: All personnel can change their language as needed. This only changes your personal Drata experience.

  1. Navigate to the Drata portal and login.

  2. Select your user account and then Settings.

  3. Under My Settings section, select Language.

  4. Choose the desired language from the dropdown and save.

Changing your language setting will not affect other individuals.

Set your individual language through My Drata

Note: For those who only have access through My Drata, you can easily switch your language preferences.

  1. Navigate to the Drata portal and login.

  2. In the top right corner of your screen, select the desired language.

Changing your language setting will not affect other individuals.
