Sophos Connection

Integrating Sophos with Drata automates your user access reviews, saving time and reducing errors by syncing user data directly from Sophos.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure that your Sophos account has Administrator privileges.

  • Copy your Tenant ID. You will need this to connect Sophos to Drata.

    1. Once logged in, select the profile icon in the top right corner, then Support Settings.

    2. Your Tenant ID will be displayed near the bottom of the Support settings page. Then, select the Copy button.

  • Copy your API Host. You will need this to connect Sophos to Drata.

    1. On the same Support settings page from the previous step, your region will be displayed at the bottom: “This account is located in the <Your Region> region”

    2. Refer to the table located at https://developer.sophos.com/intro#global-vs-regional-apis and save the API Host that matches your region. You will need this to connect Sophos to Drata.

  • Create a new Sophos API Credentials.

    1. Go to Sophos API Credentials Management page.

    2. Under API Credentials Management, select the Add Credential button.

    3. Enter credentials details and enable the required permissions listed:

      • Role: Service Principal ReadOnly.

    4. Select Show Client Secret, then copy the displayed Client ID and Client Secret. You will need these values to connect Sophos to Drata.

Enable Sophos

  1. Select Connections on the side navigation menu.

  2. Select the Available connections tab, search for Sophos, and select Connect.

  3. Follow the instructions on the connection drawer.

    • After you select connect to Sophos, on the popup modal, enter the required fields with the values that you obtained from the previous section.
