Navigation Changes: Where Did Everything Go?

The Drata navigation has been standardized as part of the New Drata Experience, creating consistent interaction patterns and clearer context across modules.

If you’re returning to Drata's new experience and can’t find a page you used to access from the sidebar, this article maps old locations to new locations.


What changed in navigation?

We’ve introduced a clearer two-level navigation with dedicated icons, making key pages easier to find and better separating Compliance, Risk, Governance, Trust, and Connections/Settings.

  • Previously: Navigation used a single sidebar with nested group headings, which could make important pages harder to discover.

  • Now: Navigation introduces a two-level structure with clearly defined sections for each major product area (Compliance, Risk, Governance, Trust, and Connections), reducing clutter and improving discoverability.

This GIF shows how you can expand each top-level section to quickly. Click a section like Compliance or Risk to expand its menu and navigate directly to the tools you need.


Quick tip: Where are Settings now?

In the new experience experience, Settings is accessed from the bottom navigation.

If you were used to finding settings under the user menu, make sure to check the bottom navigation first.

Important callouts

Vendor Questionnaires location

Vendor Questionnaires are located on the Vendors page.

If you previously navigated to Questionnaires expecting vendor questionnaires, go to Vendors → Questionnaires instead.

The user menu is available in the top-right corner.


Support location

You can now access Support from the bottom-left corner of the navigation.


Still can’t find something?

If you’re unsure where a feature belongs, start with these general rules:

  • Compliance includes controls, frameworks, evidence, audits, and monitoring.

  • Risk covers risks, assets, and vulnerabilities.

  • Governance includes personnel, policies, and access reviews.

  • Library > Tests is where you’ll find available tests.

  • Settings now includes Remote Access.
