⚠️ Select your experience
The Multi-instance Management Portal varies depending on your interface version. Select a link to skip to the instructions for your version.
Customers who joined Drata on or after Feb 24, 2026 are automatically on the New Experience.
Instructions for the New Experience ⬇️
As part of rolling out an updated experience for Drata accounts, we have also refreshed the experience for a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), virtual CISO, or manager of multiple Drata accounts.
What's New
When you log in, you will see a refreshed accounts table. This updated view provides improved clarity on the status of your synced accounts and the results of your monitoring tests.
SafeBase Accounts
You can also use single sign-on (SSO) for SafeBase tenants linked to a Drata account.
Status Indicators: The Get Started with SafeBase link will appear for accounts where SafeBase is available but not yet created
You can configure the SafeBase tenant for these accounts by clicking this button, logging into the Drata account and navigating to the Trust section.
If the SSO option is not visible, it indicates that your account does not currently have the configurations required to set up SafeBase. To gain access, please contact your Customer Team to initiate the setup process.
Customize Table Columns
Select the Gear icon near the left side of the search bar to reorder and customize your columns.
Dark Mode
With this update, we are bringing Dark mode to the Multi-instance Management portal as well.
Select your User Profile (top right header) > Appearance > Dark. You can always change your appearance back here.
Account Management
Open an account
To open an account you want to manage, click on the Account name. This will open page with options to determine which experience the tenant opens in
Select “Open in New Experience” option to view the tenant in the updated Drata experience
Select “Open in Classic Experience” option to view the tenant in the current experience
New Experience access for accounts/tenants
Tenants created before February 23, 2026: Customers can opt in or out per tenant.
Tenants created on or after February 23, 2026: New Experience is the default.
Go back to the Multi-instance Management portal
To return to your list of accounts while in the new experience, open the user profile menu by selecting your initials in the top-right corner of the header. From there, select Go to accounts.
Instructions for the Classic Experience ⬇️
If you are a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), virtual CISO or a manager of multiple Drata accounts, you can access, manage and easily switch between all your accounts without having to sign in and out of each account.
BEFORE DIVING IN
To access an account, you must be invited as a guest administrator by its account administrator. Want to know more about inviting a guest administrator? Learn more here.
You cannot invite a guest administrator with a personal email.
Guest administrators may not have access to your account for up to one hour after you invite them. A scheduled data sync processes all guest administrator invites.
Access your account list
To access your account list, which has all accounts you have been invited to, sign in to Drata using your email address.
Go to the Drata login page and sign in using your email address.
Select your account region: North America, Europe, or Asia-Pacific.
Select My account list.
You will then be provided three methods to sign in: “Sign in with Google”, “Sign in with Microsoft” or “Sign in with email”.
Account List
The account list provides a centralized view of all the accounts to which you've been invited as a guest administrator. From here you can easily switch between accounts without having to sign out and back in each time you want to work in a different account. Select the ‘>’ to access the account you want to manage.
Once in the account, you can manage it as if you were an Account Administrator.
To return to your account list, select “Back to Account List” near the top left corner and select another account or sign out.
Guest Administrator Profile
To update your first and last name, navigate to the “Guest Administrator Profile” in the top right-hand of the account list.
Enter your first and last name, and select “Back to Account List” to navigate back to your account list.
