Test: Employees Acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy
Test: Employees Acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy

Drata inspects your company records to determine if the Acceptable Use Policy has been acknowledged by all employees.

Updated over a week ago

ASSOCIATED DRATA CONTROL

This test is part of the Acceptable Use Policy control that ensures your company has policies and procedures in place to establish acceptable use of information. These assets should be approved by management, posted on the company wiki, and accessible to all employees. All employees must acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy upon hire.

WHAT TO DO IF A TEST FAILS

If Drata finds that the uploaded Acceptable Use policy has not been acknowledged by all current employees the test will fail. With a failed test, you will receive a list of employees that have not acknowledged the Acceptable Use policy.

To remediate a failed test, you will need to send reminders to this personnel via the 'Personnel Page' asking them to acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy.

STEPS TO REMEDIATE

  1. Navigate to the Policy Center page.

  2. Add an 'Acceptable Use Policy' and ensure that the newly added policy has been approved.

  3. For each current employee, ensure that they navigate to their onboarding page (/employee) and select the 'Acknowledge Policy' for the Acceptable Use Policy
