HERE IS WHY
Our MIM customers have several business accounts to manage, and need a way to prioritize which accounts to target first. For example - which accounts have frameworks that need requirements or controls to be satisfied? Any accounts that have failing connections? These are the types of questions we hope to answer with this new MIM Dashboard.
BEFORE DIVING IN
You must be setup as a service user within Drata
You can have accounts assigned to your service user account
We have not changed any scoping or filtering for the accounts listed per service user. Each existing service user should see the same business accounts that they manage within the domain of their MIM account
HERE IS HOW
Account level metrics
The new dashboard is divided into three sections: Account, Workspace, and Framework level metrics. Additionally, you can search for accounts and email domains as well as sort on various columns. The first section will display account level metrics, where you can see aggregated results that cover the entire business account, inclusive of all workspaces under that account.
Below you will find a breakdown of the Account level metrics:
Accounts - Displays the account name and email domain
CSM - Displays the assigned Customer Success Manager from Drata for each account
Active connections - Displays all active and failing connections
Approved policies - Displays the total count of approved policies
Tests passing - Displays the percentage of passing tests across the account
Tests failing - Displays the percentage of tests that are failing across the account
Onboarding completion - Displays the percentage of personnel that have completed their onboarding successfully
Risk assessment completion - Displays the completed percentage of any started Risk Assessment
Workspace level metrics
The second section, workspace metrics, sits below the account level and helps inform the user of what compliance health metrics to look for for each individual workspace within each business account. This could range from such metrics like control readiness, specific tests that are failing or passing, and more.
Below you will find a breakdown of the Account level metrics:
Workspace - Displays the name of the workspace as well as the email domain associated to the account
Non-ready controls - Displays the total count of controls that are not ready for the workspace
Control readiness - Displays the percentage of controls that are considered ‘ready’ for each workspace
Infrastructure tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Infrastructure tests
Identity tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Identity tests
Version control tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Version control tests
Ticketing tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Ticketing tests
Observability tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Observability tests
Policy tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Policy tests
In Drata tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated In Drata tests
Agent tests - Displays the number of passing and failing tests that are related to automated Agent tests
Framework level metrics
The last section, depicted as a single column, displays the enabled frameworks for each workspace. Each framework will have the name and the percent of readiness associated based on the readiness of in-scope requirements for that framework. Anything less than 100%, will display the framework in a ‘red badge’ format, otherwise it will be blue - which is considered 100% ready.
