Integrating Jetbrains with Drata automates your user access reviews, saving time and reducing errors by syncing user data directly from Jetbrains.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have Admin privileges within your Jetbrains Space account.

  • Copy your Jetbrains Space subdomain.

    1. Log into your Jetbrains Space account. Then, copy the subdomain from the URL. If your URL is: https://subdomain.jetbrains.space the subdomain is subdomain.

  • Copy your Jetbrains Space personal access token.

    1. Log into your Jetbrains Space account and navigate to the Personal Tokens page. This should be under the Authentication page.

    2. Select New personal token button. Then, enter the token details.

      • Name: Enter the name of the token.

      • Expires: Set an expirations date or leave bank for permanent access. If you do set a date, ensure to take note of the date and renew the token before it expires.

      • Access: Select Limited.

      • Permissions: Set the following permissions.

        • Member Teams: View memberships

        • Members: View all external users, View member profiles, View member profile basic info

        • Permissions: View permissions granted to other members

        • Teams: View teams

    3. Save the token and then copy the token. You will need this to connect Jetbrains to Drata.

Enable Jetbrains

  1. Select Connections on the side navigation menu.

  2. Select the Available connections tab, search for Jetbrains, and select Connect.

  3. Follow the instructions on the connection drawer.

    • After you select connect to Jetbrains, on the popup modal, enter the required fields with the values that you obtained from the previous section.
