This article covers how to connect Aikido, the partner-built Vulnerability Management solution to Drata.

Connect Aikido to Drata

  1. Create an API key in Drata with the following configurations. You will need to copy the generated API Key and enter the key into Aikido.

    • Under the Details section, enter the following information.

      • Name: Aikido Security

      • Expiration: Never Expires

      • Allowed IP Address: Leave blank.

    • Under the Scopes section, enter the following information:

      • Access: Custom

      • Controls: Expand the Controls to enable the following permissions.

        • Controls list: Read

        • Add control: Write

        • Map external evidence: Read, Write

        • Delete mapped external evidence: Write

        Workspaces: Expand the Workspaces to enable the following permissions.

        • List workspaces: Read

        Frameworks: Expand the Frameworks to enable the following permissions.

        • List frameworks: Read

        • List framework requirements: Read

  2. Login to your Aikido account at https://app.aikido.dev/login.

    • Go to Settings > Integrations and then select Drata.

    • Select "Add Drata integration".

    • Paste the API key you created in Drata.

    • Choose your Drata Workspace.

    • Save.

A daily PDF is generated, reported, and syncs to Drata as "Miscellaneous evidence". A control with the code AIKIDO is created and linked to the relevant SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements. You can search for the controls on the Controls page.
