HERE'S WHY
Connecting Shortcut to Drata allows for the automated checks and evidence collection to prove to auditors that your company follows its vulnerability management policy and procedures.
BEFORE DIVING IN
Make sure you have admin access to your company's Shortcut account. Specifically, you'll need the ability to create new API tokens.
Clubhouse changed its name to Shortcut in September 2021.
HERE'S HOW
Follow these instructions to connect Shortcut to Drata:
1. Click on your company's name in the lower left corner.
2. Click "Connections" from that menu.
3. Click the "Connect" button for the Shortcut integration.
4. Follow the instructions in the slide-out panel carefully. Take your time and complete one step entirely before moving on to the next.
5. After creating your API token, copy and paste it into the 'API Token *' field in the Drata connection drawer.
Tips:
Use the copy button to quickly copy the long important strings of characters. It looks like this:
Read the descriptions under each textbox and enter the appropriate label according to how you currently do things in Shortcut.
Product Notes:
It was important for Drata to be flexible to your company's current processes, rather than force a different habit or require back-filling of tags and labels. This is why you have these textbox fields to point Drata in the right direction as its automated tests begin to run each day. Drata's auto-pilot system will be looking for vulnerability tickets to auto-collect evidence that your company addressed them in the appropriate amount of time according to your Vulnerability Management Policy SLAs.
