This test is part of the Maintains a Privacy Policy control that ensures your company maintains a Privacy Policy that is available to all external users and internal employees. It is important to note that the Privacy Policy must include detail around company confidentiality and privacy commitments.
WHAT TO DO IF A TEST FAILS
If Drata is unable to locate a URL to a public facing Privacy Policy the test will fail. To remediate a failed test you will need to navigate to the Account Information - Company Info section in Drata and insert a URL to the publicly-facing Privacy Policy.
STEPS TO REMEDIATE
Navigate to the Account Settings - Company page in Drata
Enter the URL for your Privacy Policy in the Privacy Policy URL field
Update settings
