Invite a guest administrator to manage compliance on your behalf and remove guest administrators.

You might want to invite a guest administrator to manage your Drata account if you work with a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) or virtual CISO to manage your security and compliance program, or you’re a self-operating business unit with a single security and compliance team at HQ that needs access to your Drata account.

BEFORE DIVING IN

  • Admin role can invite guest administrators.

  • Guest administrators has access to the entire Drata application like Admin roles. Learn more about admin roles.

  • For security reasons, only emails with approved domains can be invited. Reach out to the Drata Customer Success Team to add the email domain.

    • You cannot invite a guest administrator with a personal email.

  • Guest administrators may not have access to your account for up to one hour after you invite them. A scheduled data sync processes all guest administrator invites.

Invite a guest administrator

  1. On the Role Administration page, scroll down and select the Guest administrators card.

  2. Enter an email address of the guest administrator you would like to invite, and select the “Invite” button.

  3. Double confirm.

Remove a guest administrator

  1. On the Role Administration page, scroll down and select the Guest administrators card.

  2. Search for the guest administrator in the table and select the 'X' next to the their name.

  3. Double confirm.
