Note: A tooltip within the app will indicate if you have reached the maximum amount of custom tests. If a published custom test has a draft version, both published and draft versions are still considered one test.

First, create your custom test. To learn more, go to Create custom test for adaptive automation (Beta).

To edit a publish test, go to the Monitoring page and select the test you would like to edit. In the test details under Test logic, select Edit logic.

A draft test (based on the published test) is created. Only one draft test can exist for each published custom test. We create a draft test so that when you are updating or editing your test your compliance posture is not affected.

You will be redirected to the test builder page where you can edit the test logic from the published test. Save and continue to view the draft test details drawer.

When you publish the draft test, the test’s logic and exclusions are updated (based on your draft). The original test history will not change and. Moving forward, new evidence will be created.

Once you are ready, you can publish your test. To publish the test, select publish test.

View draft test

You can view your draft test by going to the Monitoring page. Select "Custom" for your Test Type and the Draft tab.
