Drata Agent v3.8.0 delivers key maintenance fixes, security updates, and feature enhancements. These updates improve performance, resolve compatibility issues, and enhance data collection while expanding international language support.

Windows PowerShell:
PowerShell commands now default to

Personal Exclusions enhancements: Personnel with an active exclusion for a specific device check will not have that compliance check show up on the Drata Agent.
Security updates: Drata Agent’s scheduler library is updated, but there are no overall schedule changes. Drata Agent’s osquery has also been updated to 5.10.2.
Data collection updates: Updates of what data is collected.
Additional information will be collected regarding how screen lock settings are configured related to display, power, and policy settings, which may cause screen lock check to fail if configuration does not match the Auto-Lock your Workstation with Screensaver help article.
The Agent now collects additional serial number details when available, to support device attribution.
DataDog error logging with additional data. Information is automatically collected and sent to DataDog on error, or when initiated by the user menu.
Computer names and host names to enhance asset naming control.
Error reporting has been consolidated to Datadog; Sentry is no longer used.
Verify the version of Drata Agent running on a device
Navigate to the Personnel page.
Select Download and then from the dropdown menu, select Compliance overview. You will be downloading a CSV file that contains information about the versions that each device is on.
In the downloaded CSV file, view the data under the columns Device source and Device version.
The Device source will list Agent if a device’s compliance is being monitored via the Drata Agent
The Device version will list the version of the Agent running on that device.
Note: If you are not using or no longer intend to use the Drata Agent to monitor device compliance, we suggest that the Drata Agent be uninstalled from those devices.
Update the Drata Agent to the latest version
Download the appropriate Drata Agent for your platform.
