What is the Drata Academy?
Drata Academy is a self-serve training resource for Drata customers designed to help you learn the platform, onboard faster, and build confidence across key workflows.
With Drata Academy, customers can learn at their own pace, explore core areas of Drata, stay current on new features and workflows, accelerate onboarding and implementation, and train teammates more efficiently as usage grows.
Drata Academy gives teams a central, repeatable place to build product knowledge, revisit lessons as needed, and reach value faster in Drata.

Prerequisites
Before you access Drata Academy, make sure the following are true:
You are a Drata customer. Drata Academy is currently for Drata customers only.
We recommend opting-in to the new Drata experience (if you have not done so already) as the Drata Academy content is centered around the new Drata experience. Existing customers can opt in, and customers created on or after February 24, 2026 receive the new experience by default.
You can sign in to Drata. You must be signed-in to Drata to register for course content.

How to access the Drata Academy
You can access Drata Academy in either of these ways:
Option 1: Go to academy.drata.com and click Sign in located in the top-right corner.
Option 2: Log in to Drata, open the menu under your name in the top-right corner, and select Drata Academy.
The Academy home page is public, but you must be signed in to Drata to register for a course.
How to access courses and register
Browse the Academy home page or course catalog to view available courses.
Open the course you want.
Click Register to enroll in the course (you will be prompted to sign-in to Drata if not already signed-in).
Complete the course at your own pace.
How to register for live training
You can also register for live training from the Drata Academy:
From the Academy header menu, click Live Training.
Find the event you want to attend.
Click Register (you will be prompted to sign-in to Drata if not already signed-in).
