You may want to invite a guest administrator to manage your Drata account if you work with a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) or virtual CISO, or if you’re a self-operating business unit with a single security and compliance team at HQ that needs access to your Drata account.
BEFORE DIVING IN
An Admin role can invite guest administrators.
Guest administrators have access to the entire Drata application like Admin roles. Learn more about admin roles.
For security reasons, only emails from approved domains can be invited. Contact the Drata Customer Success Team to add an email domain.
You cannot invite a guest administrator with a personal email.
Guest administrators may not have access to your account for up to one hour after you invite them. A scheduled data sync processes all guest administrator invites.
Invite a guest administrator
On the Role Administration page, scroll down and select the Guest administrators card.
Enter an email address of the guest administrator you would like to invite, and select the “Invite” button.
Double confirm.
