Custom Access Length Expiration (Trust Center Pro only)
Updated over a week ago

HERE'S WHY

By default, access to private Trust page documents last 1 year (365 days) from the time the access is granted. You may revoke access at any time. However, if you want to change the default from 365 days to another default time period, you can do so with Custom Access Length Expiration.

BEFORE DIVING IN

Note: This feature is only available on Trust Center Pro.

HERE'S HOW

There are two ways to customize the length of access, for individual requests and for all incoming requests.

  • To change the access length for all incoming requests, on the Settings page, scroll to Length of Access, and click the Edit icon.

  • Enter the new access length in the Default access length field. Click Save. Note: You can only enter integers between 1-365.

  • Once you’ve clicked Save, all incoming requests will default to the new default access length.

  • To change the access length for an individual request, on the Access & Requests or the Homepage, click Review for an incoming request. When the drawer opens, click the Edit icon under Length of Access.

  • Enter the desired access length in the default access length field. If you’d like to change the default for all incoming requests to this new length, click Make this the default access length for new requests. After you’ve entered the desired access length, click Save.

  • Once you’ve Granted Access, the Past Requests table will update with the expiration date for this request. You may also view this by clicking the row of the requestor and viewing the Request History in the drawer.

  • Note: You will not be able to edit the length of access for customers that you have provided access for previously.
