HERE'S WHY
The header and theme settings of your Trust Center allows you to customize your Trust page and apply your branding.
BEFORE DIVING IN
If you are using Trust Center Essential, you have access to "Basic" mode which includes the ability to update your logo and headline.
If you are using Trust Center Pro, you have access to "Advanced" mode, which is a full HTML editor that can be used for deeper customization.
HERE'S HOW
Below is a list of what can be managed inside of “Edit Header settings ”
Header Logo: This will be filled from the “Company Info” page in Drata or filled from the image you uploaded in the Onboarding set-up.
Headline: This will be pre-filled from the “Company Info” page in Drata and will appear at the top of your Trust page and in the empty state version of your Trust page
Advanced Mode (Pro Users Only)
Header HTML editor: This will be pre-filled with your company logo and company name from your “Company Info” page in Drata.
To customize the header logo and headline at the top of your Trust Center:
Click on the edit icon in the upper right corner to enter into your Header settings
Once clicked, a drawer will open for the Basic mode of the Edit Header drawer, which includes the ability to customize the Header Logo and Headline.
To upload a new logo, click Upload Image and choose a logo from your desktop. Once chosen, click “Save” and the new Logo will appear in your header.
To add a new headline, type the desired text in the Headline and click Save.
To do Advanced customization on the header (Pro customers only):
Click on the edit icon in the upper right corner to enter into your header settings
Once clicked, a drawer will open for the Basic mode of the Edit Header drawer, which includes the ability to customize the Header Logo and Headline. To continue to Advanced customization, click the Advanced toggle.
The Advanced mode will come pre-loaded with your Header logo and Headline from the Basic mode and the Privacy URL from your “Company Info” in Drata. Under HTML and inline CSS styles, you can completely customize the header for your Trust Page. Changes you make will be reflected immediately on your Trust Page as soon as you save.
Different than the Basic Mode, to upload a new Header logo in the Advanced mode, you will need to first:
Upload an image under Hosted logo image
Once you have uploaded the image and success banner has appears, click Copy Image Address.
Once you have copied the image address, in the HTML Editor, scroll to the location in the image below and find the line of code beginning with src = “https:…..”
Replace the link there with the one you copied in and click Save. The new logo should appear in your Trust Page header.
Notes on Edit Header:
If you turn off Advanced mode, this will reset the HTML/CSS and overwrite any customizations made to your advanced theme HTML or CSS. These customizations will not be recoverable after you have turned off Advanced mode.
After completing Onboarding, all users will be defaulted to the Basic mode of the Edit Header.
Pro users who customized their header prior to this enhancement will be defaulted to Advanced mode and retain all their HTML customizations.
