Early Access for Monitoring and Controls

Learn more about the newest changes for our monitoring tests and controls.

We are introducing significant improvements to how you interact with the Controls and Monitoring page. These updates replace the old detail drawers with new full-page views, designed to enhance usability, performance, and overall experience.

If you joined Drata on or after July 2, 2025:

If you joined Drata before July 2, 2025:

You can choose to opt in or out of the new experience at any time. This guide will walk you through how to do it.

How to Opt In or Out of Early Access

You can opt in or out of the new experience directly from the Controls or Monitoring pages by selecting any control or monitoring test.

To opt in:

  1. Select a specific control or monitoring test.

  2. Select the Early Access menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Opt In to start using the new pages.

To opt out:

  1. Select a specific control or monitoring test.

  2. Select the Early Access menu.
    Select Opt Out to revert to the previous interface.

  • Provide feedback directly to our product team.

FAQs about Early Access

What if I prefer the old experience?

You can opt out of Early Access at any time using the Early Access menu. We also encourage you to provide feedback directly from the same menu. To give feedback:

  1. Select the Early access menu on the control or monitoring pages.

  2. Select Provide feedback to share your thoughts directly with our product team.

Can I opt into only the Controls or only the Monitoring experience?

No. Early Access covers both Controls and Monitoring. Opting in or out applies to both experiences simultaneously.
